I met up with some of my friends in Solomon Islands, and we decided to do a little SCUBA diving. The Battle of Guadalcanal is of course a famous offensive during World War II and is named for the largest of the islands which is home to the capital Honiara and Honiara International Airport which historically was refered to as Henderson Field. During our visit we dove on some magnificent coral reefs, saw remnants of the war both above and below war, and met some beautiful people. Thank you to Lonestar Scuba for hosting this trip.
